Concerts in the Community
Looking for a Musical Entertainment for Your Organization?
In addition to ticketed performances hosted around the Bay Area, the SF Mandolin Orchestra performs Concerts in the Community: “in house” events sponsored by senior living facilities, libraries, civic organizations, and other similar organizations. For example, we’ve performed at:
- California Academy of Sciences
- Piedmont Gardens senior community
- St. Paul’s Towers senior community
- Jewish Community Center of Palo Alto
- The Sequoias of San Francisco senior community
How Does It Work?
Your organization can hire SF Mandolin Orchestra to play a one-hour concert at your facility. After picking a date we’ll discuss your audience and create a program of classical and popular music certain to delight them. Host organizations typically schedule concerts 2-4 months in advance, and pay an honorarium of $500-1000.
What’s the Next Step?
Contact Achille Bocus, Artistic Director of the orchestra at sfmo@sfmandolin.org and we’ll arrange a time to talk about your organization, audience, and needs.
